The North Carolina Cheerleading Coaches Association is a non-affiliated organization, dedicated to the recognition and improvement of cheerleading throughout the state.  Established in 1985 and chartered in 1986, the NCCCA is dedicated to professional enrichment, and is open to all cheerleading coaches including middle and junior high, high school varsity and junior varsity, college and university, and recreational league coach/sponsors.

NCCCA promotes the belief that cheerleaders are talented, skilled athletes and that cheerleading is a sport.  We believe that the primary job of cheerleaders is to promote spirit and enthusiasm for their athletic teams.  We also believe in allowing cheerleaders to develop and showcase their athletic skills within prescribed safety guidelines.

NCCCA believes that cheerleading coaches are dedicated professionals who need and deserve the esteem of all other coaches.  Through a consolidated effort we can improve the quality of coaching, facilities, schedules, budgets, and supplements for cheerleading coaches.
